28 Year old Mum Natalie had recently fought the battle of her life fighting stage 4 cancer, after an intense course of chemotherapy she was finding things tough and suffered depression and anxiety.  Natalie's friend suggested she got in touch with AHFO to see if she could take part in one of the health & wellbeing courses.  After meeting Natalie we suggested she tried out the 6 week mindfulness course put on by a lovely kind hearted mindfulness and yoga teacher called Katie (sunshine yoga).  At first Nat was really sceptical about Mindfulness and took a bit of persuasion to take part. The 6 one hour a week sessions really had a positive effect on Natalie and she was amazed at how therapeutic they actually were.

Natalie said 'AHFO always made me feel like family and I was amazed at how therapeutic the sessions were, they really helped me how to think differently and remain positive.  I gained so much confidence from attending and not long after started a new relationship which I am still extremely happy in, I would recommend anyone give it a go as I know it can help you so much in life'.
