DRAMA GROUP FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN 12 & 16YRS

Our weekly drama group is delivered by our long time friend Katie Heywood, Katie runs the incredible drama academy Unistar and gives her time each week at our Tuebrook hub. Katie is joined by our lovely volunteer Daniella who is fantastic supporting the youngsters.

The impact in the lives of many children who take part in drama has been incredible to witness over the last few years.  The kids have performed in St Georges Hall in front of 500 people, the lighthouse theatre and also each year at our annual gala.

The groups are a great way for young people to build confidence and self esteem as they have to come out of their comfort zones and find the resilience to act and perform.  Great sessions filled with positive energy that Katie and Daniella bring.

'My foster child attends one of the children's groups and has totally evolved and grown there becoming a more confident young lady who has performed in front of 400/500 people in theatres!!'
